35% Carbamide Peroxide Teeth Whitening Gel Review
The 35% Carbamide Peroxide Teeth Whitening Gel was suggested to be by one of my friends who found it very useful to whiten the teeth. As the name suggests this contains 35% Carbamide Peroxide that acts as the bleaching agent. This is the main active ingredient that enhances the effectiveness of the gel. Most of the prescription gels have a bleaching composition of something to the tune of 65 and hence they are not effective. Before trying this I was using Opalescence PF 20% and that was pretty decent. But nothing can be compared to this 35% in terms of the quality of the whitening and the time required for the treatment to show positive results.
The high concentration of bleaching chemical has its own set of pros and cons. Just the way it enhances the process, in the same manner it causes pain and irritation if the chemical gets in to direct contact with sore or inflammation. So it is advisable to consult a dentist and check for any burns, cut, inflammation or bleeding to save from the excruciating pain. Being an coffee addict it was difficult for me to stay away from the beverage after the whitening using the Opalescence and it tainted my teeth. So it was something like a vicious cycle of bleaching and tarnishing and hence it was not that effective. With the 35%Carbamide I can sip coffee occasionally and still the teeth do not get discolored.
This is by far better than the costly treatments with a dentist and the series of sitting with a grave face. I detest the thought of sitting right in front of the dentist with the mouth wide open in an awkward position. When all these factors are taken into account the 35% Carbamide gel is a blessing for guys for me who does not have money and time to spend. Trust me, with this gel you can get the work done in one fourth of the amount that you shell out at a dentist.
