Company Moves Manufacturing In-House.

SAN DIEGO–(BUSINESS WIRE)–June 19, 2002
LumaLite, Inc. (OTCBB: LMIT) announced today it recently enhanced its LumaWhite(TM) Bleach for light-activated tooth whitening with the LumaArch(TM) Bleaching System.
The bleach is now being processed to offer
greater consistency and quicker preparation, while a blue tint makes the bleach solution easier to see during application. The product is being manufactured in-house to enhance process control and maximize production output.
Each box of LumaWhite bleach contains enough materials to treat four patients (three bleach applications each). The bleach catalyst is packaged in convenient easy-open screw-cap jars, each containing sufficient catalyst for a single, dual-arch application. The hydrogen peroxide required for preparing the bleach material is packaged in individual pre-measured vials for easy mixing. Allowing the user to mix the bleach material for each application assures the bleach performs at optimal effectiveness. Application brushes are included.
Mike Jackson, LumaLite’s chief operating officer, stated, “We are extremely excited to offer our customers an improved version of our already successful tooth whitening product. Quality and technology leadership have always been a hallmark of LumaLite. Our in-house manufacturing capability establishes a structured framework for quality output, and helps us provide a uniform product to our customers, while also establishing a strong foundation for ongoing operational improvements by allowing us to identify ways to reduce costs and improve margins.”
LumaWhite Bleach is ideal for use with the LumaArch Bleaching System, which allows dentists to provide a complete in-office tooth whitening procedure in a single office visit. The product uses xenon-halogen light for a high-quality result with virtually no heat. The LumaArch Bleaching System helps dentists increase revenues and attract new patients. The domestic tooth whitening market is estimated to be $1.3 billion, and is projected to grow to $5 billion over the next seven years.
LumaWhite Bleach and the LumaArch Bleaching System are available from most major dental dealers. Call 800-400-2262 or visit www.luma-lite.com for more information.
