Pros & Cons of Teeth Whitening: Teeth Whitening
“So would you like to know the pros and cons when it comes to teeth whitening? Well my name is Michelle and I am a dental assistant with Solutionz and I am going to give you a couple, some information on the pros and cons of teeth whitening. Basically the pros are pretty evident. Of course once when you whiten your teeth you will not only have a big bright white smile but it will also give you a lot more confidence to smile. That is pretty much the main reason on whitening your teeth. You also especially now in todays society appearance does mean a lot so whenever you have nice confident white smile it is just going to help better yourself whenever you are out there in the general public but the crime when it comes to teeth whitening is if you actually bleach your teeth too much. You can actually bleach your teeth to where the bleaching solution will start to eat away at your enamel which in return causes a lot of extreme sensitivity to even like hot and cold temperatures or even to touch so, or you can bleach your teeth to the point where they can actually become translucent on the edges of your teeth you can actually start to see if you put your finger behind your tooth you will be able to see the reflection of your finger so mainly you would need to consult with your general dentist so therefore he can kind of monitor you throughout your bleaching process and make sure that you are not bleaching them too much and if you do have any sensitivity areas after you are done bleaching he might be able to prescribe you like a fluoride toothpaste to brush your teeth with to help supply the nutrients back into them but it is pretty easy when it comes to bleaching your teeth. Just talk to your dentist about it and he will be able to give you a lot more pros and cons when it comes to bleaching your teeth.
